84,000 vitreous glass mosaic tile mural commissioned by Alameda County Arts Commission for the new Cherryland Fire Station #23. Designed in consultation with community members and Fire Department representatives to honor the service of Station #23 and celebrate the Cherryland community. The mural collages historic Cherryland landmarks, references to the station’s legacy, and local natural motifs.
