Mural commissioned by Oakland Roots and Soul Soccer Club for Longfellow Fields, new community soccer fields in Oakland’s Longfellow neighborhood. The mural features Oakland Roots all-time leading goal scorer Johnny Rodriguez, Oakland Soul captain and fan favorite Sam Tran, and a tribute in memory of artist Farida Kohgadai, known as “Ghost51.” The mural is a celebration of creativity, athleticism, and the vibrant tapestry of the Longfellow community.
